About U·TURN

U·TURN seeks to be a quarterly publication and is a ministry of Christ Covenant Church (CCC),* a member of the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches.

Who is CCC?
We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that through Christ's life, death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven, He has defeated Satan and conquered sin. We are committed to historic Christianity. We believe that creeds are beautiful. We believe that worship is warfare. We believe that the church needs to recover the vigorous singing of Psalms, the war anthems of the church. We believe that the sacraments are an important and integral aspect of Christian spirituality. In short, we are Reformed Evangelicals. Do we sound like stodgy dead traditionalists? We hope not. The Christian life must be full-orbed. It is the most beautiful life. It is a life where the arts flourish, where the many good things God has given us are appreciated and enjoyed. The Christian life is the only good life. And it is good because we belong to Jesus Christ, who is the author of all goodness.

What can you expect from us?
We are committed to publishing regularly. We have been saying this for years now, and we have always meant it, but now we believe we have the means to make this commitment a reality. Our aim is to publish four issues a year (roughly one issue every three months). These issues will be generally themed but at times may appear slightly scatterbrained.

We will soon have a Links and Things section on this website that will feature monthly recommendations from our writers, articles available exclusively online, and other random tidbits sure to spread smiles all around.

What can you do?
To begin, we hope that you will enjoy our magazine. And, if you find this magazine beneficial, send lots of money. The recommended donation is $15.00 per year. All donations over $1,000,000.00 will receive a complimentary phone call from our deacon. Please make your cheques out to CCC. All donations over $25.00 are tax deductible in Canada.
